00 00 0000

Saturday October 17 from 2pm to 6pm

Girls, boys, mothers, fathers,... come and discover with us how fun, creative and powerful code can be, by learning in a few hours to design and build together your first web page from scratch!

Target audience

10-15 kid-parent teams; 10 years old and up; with (at least) one female member per team ; )

English- and/or French- and/or Dutch-speaking.

Programme

Set up of (free) programming tools: installation of a text editor (SublimeText), a good browser (Google Chrome preferably or Mozilla Firefox) and some nice plug-in (Font Face Ninja, ColorZilla, etc.)

Introduction to the front-end languages HTML, CSS & JS and to the Bootstrap framework (to make our web page responsive, i.e. nicely displayable on screens of different sizes - laptop, smartphone, tablet, etc.)

Selection of a nice free template.

And then, let's happily dive into code! : )
